Spaces for up to 1500 people

Packing Hall 1

Once a bustling packing hall for a historic pencil factory, it now offers a unique and versatile venue space. Its original brick walls, high industrial ceilings, and expansive open floor plan preserve the building’s vintage character. Ideal for events, exhibitions, and creative gatherings. It’s the rustic charm that we love about it.

Available for dry hire—perfect for individual bookings or hired as part of a multiple space booking, where our events team will work with you to co-ordinate your event for your guests.

  • A great space for, markets, exhibitions, concerts, car shows, sporting events. You name it, the packing hall could be just the space you’ve been looking for.

    With a big roller door entrance, access is easy and convenient.

  • 40 metres x 30 metres

  • Up to 1,400 theatre style for concerts, conferences or other large events.

    Space for over 100 stalls for markets and exhibitions.

Packing Hall 2

The Packing Hall is an old warehouse full of character and lined with old brick walls, situated next to Packing Hall 1, this can be used as a extension of the space or as a different venue. Also fitted with large roller doors, making access easy and convenient.

Half Day: Prices from £525 + VAT

Available for dry hire—perfect for individual bookings or hired as part of a multiple space booking, where our events team will work with you to co-ordinate your event for your guests. Available alongside Packing Hall 1 to create a larger space or as it’s own unique space.

  • Large meetings, exhibitions, the perfect start and end to any sporting event.

  • Up to 700 theatre style

The Mixing Shed

While this space could use a little TLC, it’s a fantastic, versatile venue with plenty of potential to suit your needs.

Full Day: Prices from £375 + VAT

Half Day: Prices from £310 + VAT

Situated on the group floor of the Pencil Factory, this room can be adapted to suit your needs, whether it’s simply space you need or a venue to host a large conference, the Mixing Shed could be perfect for you. The space also includes a 4 x x m video wall which can be utilised for your event through some of our technical suppliers.

  • Exhibitions, Galleries, Awards Ceremonies, Youth Meetings and so much more, the mixing shed is a versatile space.

  • 15 metres x 26 metres

  • Theatre Style: up to 500
